Regular Season Round 6: Oostende - Valencia 87-83

Base Oostende overcame Valencia Basket but it was not enough to secure the place in Last 16 of EuroCup. The Belgian team won 87:83 to get the second win. Oostende finished third in Group D with a 2-4 record due to its tie-break advantage with Lukoil Academic. Valencia was second in Group B with a 4-2 record, as Asvel had the tie-break advantage against the Spanish powerhouse. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87:83. The best player for the winners was Dusan Djordjevic who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Kennedy Winston chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Zarko Rakocevic who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks and Rafael Martinez added 23 points and 4 assists respectively.
