Regular Season Round 6: Cholet - PAOK 69-66

Cholet overcame PAOK but both teams farewell to EuroCup season. Even after 69:66 win, the French side allowed Khimky and VEF Riga to enter the next stage. Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked French Cholet and one of their biggest challengers Greek PAOK had identical 1-4 record. This time Cholet used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Thessaloniki 69:66 on Tuesday night. PAOK was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. PAOK was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Fabien Causeur who scored 27 points and 4 assists. Patrick Christopher chipped in 17 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Giannis Kalambokis who recorded 18 points and 7 rebounds and J.R. Giddens added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively.
