ASVEL finished off its Group C campaign in strong fashion. Kim Tillie's jumper with three-tenths of a second left in overtime lifted Asvel Basket to a thrilling 69:68 victory over visiting Lukoil Academic. Lukoil Academik was ahead by 7 points at the halftime before a 15-5 third quarter run of ASVEL. They tied the game at the end of regular time. Then they were better in overtime eventually winning that period 13-12. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Lukoil Academik to just 5 points in third quarter. With 13-12 the French side won the overtime and secure the top place in the group. It was a good game for Dijon Thompson who saved his team from a defeat with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Kim Tillie contributed with 19 points for the winners. Andre Owens replied with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Brandon Heath added 14 points and 5 assists in the effort for Lukoil Academik.
