Lokomotiv Kuban registered the second win in EuroCup Last 16 Group L. They beat ALBA in Berlin to climb at 2-0 record on top of standings. Maxim Grigoryev scored 17 points and pulled down 7 rebounds to pace the Russian team. ALBA found themselves at critical situation after 0-2 start in the group. The teams looked well-matched in the opening quarter. ALBA and Lokomotiv exchanged baskets to stay tied at 21 after ten minutes. The hosts pulled their noses in front in the second quarter. ALBA gained a 41:34 halftime lead. But Lokomotiv Kuban slowed their opponents down after the big break. The visitors cut the distance to just a single point 55:56 at the final intermission. Lokomotiv shone in the fourth frame scoring 29 points and leaving ALBA behind. Jeremiah Massey posted 16 points and 8 rebounds, while Roderick Blakney added 14 points for Lokomotiv. Derrick Allen answered with 19 points for ALBA Berlin. Marko Simonovic finished with 16 points.
