Top 16 Round 3: CEZ Nymburk - Valencia 71-80

Valencia earned the third straight win at EuroCup Last 16 round. They defeated Nymburk in Czech Republic tonight to stay on top of Group I. Nando De Colo exploded with 32 points to lead the winners. Nymburk slipped at 2-1 record after the loss. Valencia marked their ambitions early in the game. The visitors outscored Nymburk in the first frame to enjoy a 20:12 advantage. Valencia boosted the gap in the second quarter. The Spaniards stretched the margin to as many as 15 points 45:30 at the interval. Nymburk however were not about to give up easily. The hosts went on a comeback rally in the third frame. Nymburk narrowed the deficit at just 3 points at the final intermission 56:59. But Valencia did not allow their opponents to take over completely. Nando De Colo and Niklas Caner-Medley came up for the visitors in the final frame leading Valencia to the victory. Niklas Caner-Medley and Victor Claver finished with 14 points each in the win. Chester Simmons nailed 20 points for Nymburk. Pavel Pumprla delivered 17 points and 6 boards in the loss.
