Benetton executed a stunning comeback in the last minutes of the road game against Lokomotiv to clinch the second win in EuroCup Group L. Jobey Thomas drained a three-pointer late in regulation to seal the victory for the Italian team. Benetton thus caught up with Lokomotiv Kuban at 2-1 record in the ladder. Jobey Thomas top-scored for Benetton with 22 points. Lokomotiv opened the game confidently. The hosts piled up a 21:14 lead ten minutes into the game. The teams exchanged baskets throughout the second quarter as Lokomotiv kept their opponents at distance. However Benetton went out of the dressing room a different team. The visitors limited Lokomotiv to 10 points in the third period posting a 2-point lead before the fourth frame. Lokomotiv quickly regained the lead but Benetton went on a stunning rally capped by a three-pointer from Jobey Thomas and sealed the winning outcome at the end. Sani Becirovic posted 17 points, while Vlad Moldoveanu and Benjamin Ortner had 12 points each in the win. Ali Traore answered with 22 points and 8 rebounds for Lokomotiv. K.C. Rivers finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
