Lietuvos Rytas posted the second win in EuroCup Group L. They held off visiting ALBA Berlin to join Benetton and Lokomotiv Kuban on top of the standings at 2-1 record. Aleksandar Rasic led the hosts with 16 points. ALBA suffered the third loss in a row and practically dropped out of the race for the playoffs. Lietuvos Rytas surged ahead in the first frame and recorded a 20:16 lead ten minutes into the game. But ALBA bounced back in the second quarter. The visitors outscored Lietuvos Rytas to narrow the margin at just 2 points at halftime 38:40. ALBA finally pulled ahead in the third frame. The German team eked out a narrow 63:59 advantage before the final frame. However the gap proved insufficient for the visitors. Lietuvos Rytas adjusted their offence and poured in 27 points in the fourth quarter to turn out winners. Mindaugas Katelynas knocked down 13 points, while Jonas Valanciunas had 12 points and 9 rebounds for the home team. Derrick Allen answered with 16 points for ALBA. DaShaun Wood finished with 14 points in the loss.
