Quarter-Finals Round 2: Chevakata - Arras 71-56

As expected, Chevakata advanced to the EuroCup Semifinals. The Russian squad was better than Arras once again handing them 71-56 defeat. It means that Chevakata won this two-game duel with comfortable 151-127. Svetlana Makhlina stepped up for the hosts with 17 points. Katerina Keyru had 12, while Loree Moore (6 rebs) and Kristina Alikina helped with 9 points each. In the loosing squad, Nadezhda Grishaeva shined with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Their second scorers were Krissy Bade and Leilani Mitchell with 8 pts each. Quarters: 17-13, 14-17, 21-18, 19-8. Chevakata will meet Dynamo Kursk in the Semis. It will be another two-game duel and the first meeting is scheduled for February 23.
