Valencia posted the fifth straight win in EuroCup Last 16 Group I. They held off visiting Gravelines to stay on top of the standings undefeated. Serhiy Lishchuk posted 14 points and 7 rebounds to lead the home team. Valencia and Gravelines went neck and neck throughout the opening quarter. The scoreboard read 19:19 after ten minutes. Valencia pulled ahead in the second quarter. The Spaniards eked out a 41:36 halftime advantage. Valencia stressed defence after the big break. The hosts held Gravelines to 9 points in the third term to take a 9-point advantage at the final intermission. Valencia poured in 25 points in the fourth quarter to coast to the win. Rafael Martinez finished with 12 points, while Victor Claver added 11 points in the victory. Andrew Albicy answered with 18 points for Gravelines. Ludovic Vaty provided 12 points in the loss.
