Khimky earned the fourth win in EuroCup Last 16 Group J. They defeated visiting Aris to remain on top of the ladder. Aris fell at 1-4 record after the loss. Five Khimky players scored in double figures. Kresimir Loncar topscored with 14 points for the winners. The teams stayed on level terms in the starting quarter. Khimky and Aris were tied at 22 after ten minutes. Khimky pulled in front in the second frame. The hosts erupted for 26 points to ensure a 10-point lead at halftime 48:38. Aris started to lag behind in the third period. Khimky took over and rallied to a 70:54 lead at the final pause. Khimky wisely kept Aris at bay in the fourth quarter and cruised to the win at the end. Zoran Planinic and Sergey Monya accounted for 13 points each for the winners. Dimitris Verginis responded with 19 points for Aris. Christos Tapoutos had 15 points in the loss.
