BC Donetsk registered the fourth win in EuroCup Last 16. They held off visiting Asvel to book the spot in the next round of the tournament. Darnell Jackson scored 20 points to lead the hosts. Asvel fell at 1-4 record and remained at the bottom of the ladder. The French team entered the game with their backs against the wall. They began aggressively posting a 21:16 lead after ten minutes. Asvel maintained the lead throughout the second quarter. The visitors stayed hopeful at halftime leading by 8 points 40:32. BC Donetsk however turned things around in the second half. The offence of the team shifted the gear and Asvel failed to slow the hosts down. BC Donetsk dropped 26 points in the third period to cut the deficit to 5 points. They then unloaded 35 points in the final period to pull ahead and to clinch victory. Vule Avdalovic had 15 points, while Ramel Curry added 16 points in the winning case. Edwin Jackson answered with 19 points for Asvel. Dijon Thompson delivered 17 points in the loss.
