Top 16 Round 6: Buducnost - Krka 63-58

Buducnost registered the third win in EuroCup Last 16 round. They held off Krka in Group K to clinch the second place in the ladder. Buducnost will now play in EuroCup quarterfinals. Krka fell at 1-5 record and remained in the last place in the standings. Both teams needed to win to stay in the race. The hosts managed to take an upper hand from the start. Buducnost posted a 22:16 lead after ten minutes. Krka however slowed the hosts down in the second quarter. The Slovenian side narrowed the deficit to 3 points at the interval 35:38. Buducnost stiffened defence in the third quarter. They limited Krka to 11 points in the period and gained a 52:46 lead with ten minutes to go. The teams combined for just 23 points in the final term as Buducnost hung on for a narrow win at the end. Bojan Krstovic and Nikola Ivanovic accounted for 14 points each for the home team. Cedomir Vitkovac added 11 points for the Montenegrin side. Smiljan Pavic and Zoran Dragic answered with 14 points each for Krka.
