Qualifying Round Day 1: FINLAND - LUXEMBOURG 114-54

Finland registered 60-point win in the first game of the 2013 EuroBasket Qualifications. They outplayed Luxembourg 114-54 in Vantaa on Wednesday improving to 1-0 score in Group E. Taru Tuukkanen was the MVP of this meeting with valuation 38. She had 27 points and 12 rebounds for 29 minutes on the court. Tiina Sten collected 20 points and 5 rebs, while Heta Korpivaara scored 12 points. For the guests, Jill Bausch scored 13 points and Nadia Mossong added 10 pts, plus 5 boards. Finland dominated in all basketball elements and won each period of this game with at least 13-pts. Quarters: 28-14, 34-16, 26-13, 26-11. Finland will play in Greece next Saturday, while Luxembourg will host Latvia. Participants of this pool is also Italy.
