The home team ensured a 23:18 lead at 10-point mark. But Germany replied with a 25-point effort in the second term to even things up at 43. Germany surged in front in the third quarter. The visitors enjoyed a massive 75:59 advantage early in the fourth term. But Israel refused to give in. The hosts ignited a massive 19:2 run to ensure a 78:77 lead.
