Greece opened U18 EuroBasket in style. They cruised past Romania 69-52 for 1-0 record in Preliminary Group B. Romania is the host of this event. Third quarter was the crucial one in this meeting and it belonged to Greece 25-10. Before that, Greece was 2-points up at the halftime and last ten minutes were just the formality. Anna Stamolamprou led the winners with 25 points and 6 assists. Styliani Fouraki had 11 points and 13 rebs, while Amanda Lovely added 10 pts, plus 5 boards.
