Preliminary Round Day 3: NORWAY - SWITZERLAND 54-51

Norway celebrated its first victory at U18 EuroBasket Division B in Strumica keeping its hopes for the next stage alive. They outsmarted Switzerland 54-51 for 1-1 record in Preliminary Group B. Switzerland dropped to 0-3 in this pool and they have no chance to advance. Stine Austgulen stepped up for the winners with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Siri Granheim had 12 points and 6 rebs, and Christina Muren posted 8 pts in this victory. Switzerland got double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds from Laura Perrenoud. Alexandra Koch was their second scorer with 14 pts and Gabriela Sakica had 8. Quarters: 18-16, 15-15, 13-12, 8-8. Norway will meet Denmark today in Scandinavian derby. Switzerland will take a rest.
