Second Stage Day 5: CZECH REPUBLIC - POLAND 63-52

Czech Republic registered its second straight win in Group F of U18 EuroBasket in Bucharest. They handed 63-52 loss to Poland on Tuesday. Czech Republic has 2-0 record now in this pool, while Poland dropped to 0-2. Only the group winner will survive in Division A. Mariana Opocenska shined for Czech Republic with 16 points and 6 rebounds, and Sarka Jozova helped with 13 points and 6 rebs. Kamila Hoskova netted 10 points. Poland got 12 points from Dominika Owczarzak and Magdalena Wojdalska had 11 pts, plus 7 rebs. Their third scorer was Angelika Stankiewicz with 8 points. Quarters: 16-13, 16-9, 14-20, 17-10. In the next game, Czech Republic will meet also undefeated Belgium. Poland will play against the host - Romania (0-2).
