Semi-Finals Game 8: POLAND - CZECH REPUBLIC 54-58

Czech Republic secured U18 European Championship Division A place for the next season. They won classification round Group G to avoid relegation. Kamila Hoskova scored 11 points and grabbed 9 rebounds as Czech Republic prevailed against Poland in the decisive game. Poland were up by one point at the first intermission 13:12. Czech Republic surged ahead in the second quarter. They posted a 30:28 halftime lead. Poland retained the lead in the third term. They held Czech Republic to 8 points in the period and ensured a 6-point lead at the final intermission. Karolina Severova and Sarka Jozova drained triples early in the final period as Czech Republic cut the distance to three points. Kamila Hoskova and Opocenska gave Czech Republic a 53:52 lead with less then two minutes to go. Wozniak put Poland in front but the Czech team answered with three free throws in the dying seconds to steal victory. Sarka Jozova finished with 10 points, while Karolina Severova added 8 points for the winners. Julia Adamowicz answered with 17 points for Poland. Dominika Owczarzak had 12 points in the loss.
