Qualifying Round Day 4: ALBANIA - POLAND 67-105

Poland gained the second victory at 2013 EuroBasket Qualification. They cruised past Albania in Tirana. Mateusz Ponitka scored 17 points to lead the visitors. Poland are now at 2-2 record, while Albania slipped at 0-3. Poland tipped off the game aggressively. They fired 28 points in the opening quarter to take a 9-point lead. Poland stayed in control throughout the second frame. They ensured a 56:33 halftime advantage. Albania slowed the visitors down a bit in the third quarter. The hosts cut the margin to 21-point mark before the fourth period. But Poland unleashed 35 points in the final frame to seal a confident victory. Michal Ignerski and Przemyslaw Zamojski provided 14 points each for the winners. Klaudio Ndoja answered with 16 points for Albania. Ersid Luca and Gerti Shima netted 14 points each in the loss.
