Finland stayed perfect in 2013 EuroBasket Qualifying Round Group E. They fired past Switzerland in Fribourg tonight to gain 4-0 record on top of Group E. Switzerland fell at 1-3 record. Hanno Mottola delivered 17 points to lead the winners. Finland dropped 26 points in the opening quarter to spur ahead. They accumulated a 7-point lead after ten minutes. The Finnish team extended the lead in the second quarter. They piled up a comfortable 49:29 halftime lead. Finland limited the hosts to just 8 points in the third quarter. The visitors accumulated a 30-point lead at the final intermission. Switzerland outscored Finland in the fourth term but only sweetened the pill at the end. Petteri Koponen chipped in 15 points, while Ville Kaunisto and Gerald Lee had 11 points each in the victory. Oliver Vogt answered with 13 points and 8 rebounds for Switzerland. Jonathan Dubas had 12 points in the loss.
