Qualifying Round Day 6: SWITZERLAND - ALBANIA 93-84

Switzerland outgun winless Albania in Day 6 of the EuroBasket Qualification Round. The Swiss side overcame the visiting side 93:84 in Fribourg. Shima Gerti collected 29 points and 11 rebounds in defeat, while Hysenagolli Endrit added 16 points and 19 rebounds. Ndoja Klaudio scored 14and Karaj Erkand notched 9. Switzerland was rampant during the first half, firstly moving 24-15 in front after the opening ten minutes. They added 26-20 in the second frame and enjoyed 50:35 at the halftime. Albania looked better in the third period and Karaj Erkand reduced to 56:50. Shima Gerti scored 7 points in a row to close the period at 65:62. Gjonaj later tied the game at 68:68, but Switzerland dominated the rest of the game. Petkovic Stefan paced all the winners with 25 points for the second win. Mladjan Dusan delivered 24 points, while Dubas Jonathan collected 10 points and 10 rebounds.
