Qualifying Round Day 7: ESTONIA - ISRAEL 53-84

Israel edge Estonia to tie both records in exciting Group A. The Israeli team needed massive 94:53 win for 4-3 records. Almost 7000 fans came to support the local team in Tallinn, but they saw their team to fail in all quarters. Israel started with 21-13 in the first period and added 19-17 in the second frame as Prini and Sokk Tanel scored for 40:30. Eliyahu Lior and Halperin Yotam created a 7-0 run early in the third period as Israel was too difficult to be stopped. Another 19-10 gave them 59:40 as Prini closed the third quarter. Israel added 25-13 in the lasts stanza for the final result. Casspi Omri stepped up with 26 points and Eliyahu Lior collected 21 points and 11 rebounds. Tyus Alex and Halperin Yotam had 10 each, while Ohayon Yogev added 9. Talts Janar replied with 14 points and 10 rebounds in defeat and Vene Siim-Sander had 13. Sokk Tanel poured in 8, while Arbet Gregor delivered 6.
