Germany beat Luxembourg on the road for the fifth straight win in 2013 EuroBasket Qualifying Round. Germany remained undefeated on top of Group B. Luxembourg suffered the sixth straight defeat. Luxembourg put up a decent fight in the opening quarter. The matched the visitors well enough to stay on level terms 18:18 after ten minutes. Germany switched the gear in the second frame. They erupted for 31 points to take a 13-point halftime lead. Germany aggravated the damage in the third term. They outscored Luxembourg 24:12 to gain a 25-point lead at the final stanza. Luxembourg never recovered and had to yield at the end. Tibor Pleiss posted 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Jan-Hendrik Jagla added 13 points for the winners. Martin Rajniak answered with 12 points for Luxembourg. Pitt Koster and Christopher Jones had 11 points apiece in the defeat.
