Tarbes opened win count in EuroCup season. The French team brought the victory from the trip to Turkey. They outgunned Mersin for 1-0 record in Group C. Angelica Robinson nailed 18 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to pace the winners. Tarbes surged ahead early in the game. They registered a 20:11 lead after ten minutes. The visitors dominated in the second quarter. Tarbes accounted for a 39:27 halftime lead. Mersin cut the distance in the third term. The hosts managed to pull within 11 points at the final intermission. But Tarbes dropped 22 points in the fourth stanza and secured a confident win at the end. Jovana Rad posted 16 points, while Lauren Ervin added 11 points and 10 rebounds for the visitors. Chantelle Handy answered with 16 points and 10 rebounds for Mersin. Seda Erdogan finished with 16 points in the loss.
