Regular Season Round 2: Union Hainaut - Olimpia 65-60

Union Hainaut celebrated the second straight win at the start of EuroCup season. They held off visiting Olimpia for 2-0 record in Group B. Olimpia in the meantime suffered the second straight defeat. Romina Ciappina and Vera Perostiyska had 11 points each for Union Hainaut. Union Hainaut held their opponents to 12 points in the opening quarter and built a 4-point lead. Olimpia however slowed the hosts down in the second frame. The Belarusian team narrowed the gap at 3-point mark at the interval 31:28. Olimpia surged ahead in the third term. Alyoshkina made it 48:47 for the visitors at the final break. However Union Hainaut tipped off the final frame on a 13:2 run to pull ahead. Union Hainaut stayed in charge throughout the final frame and celebrated a well-deserved win at the end. Ayissi, Garcia, Houts and Murphy contributed 8 points each for the home side. Maryia Papova answered with 23 points for Olimpia. Nadzeya Drozd added 14 points and 9 rebounds in defeat.
