Regular Season Round 3: VEF Riga - Triumph 84-91

Triumph clinched a road win in Riga in the third round of EuroCup regular season tonight. Tywain McKee tallied impressive 32 points, 6 boards, 6 assists and 4 steals to pace the Russian team. Triumph dominated in the opening stanza. The visitors posted a 20:11 advantage ten minutes into the encounter. Triumph dropped 28 points in the second period as the margin grew at 14-point mark. But VEF Riga refused to give up. The hosts unloaded 25 points in the third stanza and narrowed the deficit at 4-point mark 59:63 with ten minutes to go. Triumph however poured in 28 points in the fourth quarter and left VEF Riga behind. Sergey Karasev netted 19 points, while Kyle Landry accounted for 17 points and 9 rebounds in the victory. Dairis Bertans topscored with 23 points for VEF Riga. Earl Rowland netted 14 points in the loss.
