Regular Season Round 5: Budivelnyk - CEZ Nymburk 72-62

Budivelnyk celebrated the third win in EuroCup season. The Kyiv team overcame visiting Nymburk to gain 3-2 record in Group A. Malcolm Delaney stepped up with 28 points, 6 boards and 4 assists to pace the hosts. It was all about Budivelnyk in the first half. The hosts grabbed an 18:15 lead ten minutes into the game. The Kyiv outfit got away in the second quarter. They held Nymburk to just 9 points to accumulate a massive 43:24 halftime advantage. Nymburk started to show some signs of recovery in the second half. The Czech champions narrowed the deficit at 16-point mark before the final term. Nymburk went on an 8:0 run in the fourth period to get within 10 points. The visitors trailed by just 8 points but Malcolm Delaney went perfect from the stripe in the dying seconds to seal the victory for the hosts. Michailis Anisimovas posted 9 points, while Leo Lyons and Georgi Tsintsadze added 8 points each for the winners. Radoslav Rancik answered with 17 points and 10 rebounds for Nymburk. Michael Taylor had 13 points in the loss.
