Hapoel Jerusalem stays in the fight for EuroCup Last 16 spot. They overcame Rudupis at home court tonight to improve at 2-3 record in highly-contestant Group A. Courtney Fells fired 25 points and grabbed 7 rebounds to pace Hapoel. The Jerusalem team maintained a high pressure on their opponents from the starting minutes. The hosts grabbed a 25:21 lead ten minutes into the game. Hapoel stretched the lead in the second quarter. The hosts enjoyed a 51:39 halftime advantage. Prienai could not match the effort after the big break. Hapoel cleared off to a 16-point lead at the final intermission. Rudupis exploded with 23 points in the fourth frame but just cut the deficit at the end. Elishay Kadir netted 15 points, while Josh Duncan had 12 points and 10 rebounds in the win. Siim-Sander Vene reacted with 18 points and 7 rebounds for Prienai. Arturas Milaknis chipped in 14 points in defeat.
