Angelica Robinson scored a late layup to propel Tarbes to a tough road win in Moscow in the EuroCup eighth-final series opener. She finished with 17 points and 9 rebounds as the French team made a big step towards quarterfinals. The teams stayed close throughout the opening quarter. Tarbes eked out a 14:13 lead after ten minutes. The visitors stretched the lead in the second quarter. Tarbes accounted for a 29:24 halftime lead. The hosts went on an 11:2 run to take a 37:36 lead midway through the third term. Tarbes regained the advantage and entered the fourth frame up by five points 44:39. Kristi Toliver and Abrikosova tied things up at 44 early in the final term. The lead changed hands for several times before Langhorne made it 54:53 for Dynamo with just over two minutes remaining. The teams went scoreless for more than a minute when Angelica Robinson converted a layup. The teams exchanged several misses in the final seconds as Tarbes got away with a narrow win. Kimberley Smith provided 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Jovana Rad contributed 10 points for the winners. Kristi Toliver replied with 11 points for Dynamo. Nadezhda Grishaeva had 9 points in the loss.
