Buducnost claimed a necessary victory over Banvit to secure the EuroCup quarterfinal appearance. The Montenegrin champions had to win by at least nine points to advance. They made sure no extra counting would be needed thumping the Turkish team in front of 2700 fans in Podgorica. Dee Bost scored 16 points to pace the hosts but it was stifling defence that made difference in this one. Buducnost ensured a 17:14 lead ten minutes into the game. They held Banvit to 7 points in the second quarter to boost the gap. Buducnost enjoyed a 36:21 halftime lead. The hosts kept Banvit at bay in the third quarter. The visitors managed just 14 points to trail by 16 points at the final intermission. The margin grew at 20-point mark and Buducnost eased to the necessary victory at the end. Cedomir Vitkovac and Milan Milosevic provided 11 points each for the home team. Kalin Lucas answered with 12 points for Banvit. Charles Davis chipped in 8 points in the loss.
