Dinamo Sassari leave no chance for EWE Baskets in Oldenburg in Round 1 of the EuroCup action. The Italian Powerhouse grabbed a 96:77 win for the initial success. Dinamo Sassari started the game with a 33-17 urge and never looked behind after. They added 22-13 rally in the second frame and enjoyed a 55:30 halftime advantage. EWE Baskets looked better in the second half and managed to win both last quarters. It was enough however to reduce to final 96:77 result. Green Caleb top-scored for the winners with 25 points and Johnson Linton nailed 17. Diener Drake poured in 16, whilst Thomas Omar had 12. Aleksandrov Nemanja and Kramer Chris answered with 16 points each for the hosts, whilst Crosariol Andrea notched 12. Paulding Rickey put up 11 points in a loss.
