Regular Season Round 5: Gravelines - CAI Zaragoza 85-67

Gravelines registered the fourth win in EuroCup season. They fired past CAI Zaragoza to remain on top of Group D. The French team used a massive 30:5 run in the fourth quarter to seal a comfortable victory. Gravelines unleashed 28 points in the first frame to ensure a perfect start. The hosts enjoyed an 8-point lead at the first intermission. But CAI Zaragoza denied the distance in the second quarter. The Spanish team erased the deficit and piled up a 44:41 halftime lead. CAI Zaragoza held the hosts to just 14 points in the third term to ensure a 62:55 lead at the final break. But Gravelines opened the fourth frame on a 15:2 run to surge ahead. They never looked back afterwards marching to the victory. Jonathan Rousselle finished with 21 points and 5 assists for Gravelines. D.J. Kennedy added 20 points for the home team. Pere Tomas responded with 16 points for CAI Zaragoza. Damjan Rudez netted 12 points in the loss.
