ASVEL earned the third victory in the EuroCup regular season. They overcame Valencia in Villeurbanne to catch up with their opponents in Group C ladder. Chris Wright and Edwin Jackson delivered 17 points apiece for the hosts. ASVEL knocked down 20 points in the opening quarter and jumped to a 6-point lead. The French team maintained the advantage throughout the second quarter. ASVEL piled up a 41:33 halftime advantage. Valencia held the home team to 12 points in the third term getting within three points at the final break 50:53. But ASVEL stepped on the gas in the fourth quarter and hung on to escape with a narrow win at the end. Amara Sy chipped in 14 points for the hosts. Justin Doellman answered with 19 points and 11 rebounds for Valencia. Romain Sato had 18 points and 9 rebounds in the loss.
