Gravelines celebrated the fifth win in their EuroCup campaign. The French team held off Virtus Roma at home court to improve at 5-1 record in Group D. Ousmane Camara stepped up with 20 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge. Virtus Roma snatched a narrow 17:15 lead after ten minutes. But Gravelines quickly gained control in the second quarter. The hosts pulled in front for a 35:31 halftime advantage. The Italian team stayed close throughout the third term. The visitors got within three points at the final break 47:50. But it was not enough to threaten Gravelines. The hosts sparked with a 24:17 run in the fourth period and sealed the winning outcome. Juby Johnson had 15 points, while Cyril Akpomedah added 11 points and 9 boards for the hosts. Quinton Hosley responded with 16 points for Virtus Roma. Jordan Taylor netted 12 points in the loss.
