Kalev/Cramo added positive emotions to their rather unsuccessful EuroCup season. They upset Maccabi Haifa in Israel to finish at 3-7 record in Group G. Maccabi Haifa slipped at 6-4 record but still occupied the second position in the standings. Vlad-Sorin Moldoveanu netted 19 points to pace the winners. The Estonian champions jumped to a 23:15 lead ten minutes into the game. They maintained the advantage throughout the second quarter. Kalev/Cramo accumulated a 45:30 halftime lead. Maccabi picked up the slack in the third term. The hosts dropped 24 points and got within 6 points at the final break 54:60. Maccabi tried hard to erase the deficit but Kalev/Cramo hung on to secure an upset. Frank Elegar had 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Tyshawn Abbott added 10 points for the winners. Ben Rice responded with 18 points for Maccabi. Ike Ofoegbu tossed in 16 points in the loss.
