Khimik Yuzhny proved their excellent form by beating Strasbourg away from home in the second round of EuroCup Last 32 stage. The victory propelled the ambitious Ukrainian outfit at 2-0 record on top of Group N. Strasbourg on the other hand slipped at 0-2. Jamal Shuler stepped up with 25 points to pace the visitors. Strasbourg looked dominant throughout the first half. The hosts recorded a 19:11 lead ten minutes into the encounter. The gap kept on growing in the second quarter. Strasbourg accumulated what seemed a comfortable 14-point halftime lead 41:27. But Khimik turned the tables in the third period. The visitors sank 25 points in the quarter and cut the deficit at just two points 52:54. Khimik remained aggressive in the fourth frame. They dropped 26 points and spurred ahead for the win. Romeo Travis delivered 17 points, while Matt Gatens added 16 points for Khimik. Romain Duport produced 20 points and 9 boards for Strasbourg. Ricardo Greer had 16 points in the defeat.
