Nantes made a strong big for EuroCup quartefinal appearance. They handled visiting Tarbes in the first leg of the eighth-final series. Aurelie Bonnan delivered 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead the winners. Nantes rallied to a 23:12 lead after the opening quarter. The hosts stayed in front throughout the second quarter. Nantes ensured a 38:26 halftime advantage. Things got even worse for Tarbes in the third term. Nantes held the visitors to only 10 points in the third term and ensured a 22-point lead heading into the final stanza. Tarbes managed to cut the deficit to 18 points at the end of the game leaving a trace of hope before the return leg. Cayla Francis netted 16 points, while Sarah Michel added 15 points and 12 assists for the hosts. Katelan Redmon answered with 22 points for Tarbes. Sabrina Reghaissia had 10 points in the defeat.
