Gravelines celebrated the first win in EuroCup Last 32. They upset Dinamo Sassari in Italy tonight. Steven Gray notched 28 points to lead the winners. Dinamo Sassari and Gravelines stayed on level terms throughout the first period. The teams finished the opening quarter tied at 20. The French side spurred ahead in the second quarter. Gravelines accumulated a 44:39 halftime lead. Dinamo Sassari stopped the visitors in the third term. The hosts took over jumping ahead for a 59:57 lead at the final intermission. But Gravelines unleashed 28 points in the fourth stanza and snatched the victory. Marcus Lewis scored 19 points and grabbed 9 rebounds, while John Holland added 18 points for the visitors. Caleb Green responded with 25 points for Sassari. Drake Diener had 22 points in the loss.
