Unics celebrated back-to-back wins over Nymburk in the EuroCup eighth-final stage. The Kazan team looked dominant for the second time in a row and booked the quarterfinal ticket. Andrew Goudelock stepped up with 29 points to lead the winners. Nymburk snatched a one-point lead after the opening quarter. The Czech team boosted the gap in the second frame. They ensured a 40:34 halftime advantage. But the visitors ran out of steam in the second part of the game. Unics went on a 17:9 run in the third term to pull ahead. The hosts finished the game with a 25:10 rally to secure the winning outcome. Nikolaos Zisis and Nikita Kurbanov accounted for 10 points each in the victory. Tomas Pomikalek responded with 11 points for Nymburk. Rasid Mahalbasic had 10 points in the loss.
