Valencia have become the first EuroCup semifinalists. The Spanish team overcame ALBA Berlin on aggregate in the quarterfinal series. ALBA claimed a 5-point victory at home court but could not erase a massive 32-point deficit after the opening leg of the series. Reggie Redding scored 24 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and issued 7 assists to pace ALBA to the win in Berlin. Valencia snatched a 19:16 lead after the opening quarter. The teams traded baskets throughout the second term. Valencia established a 36:33 halftime lead. The Spanish team extended the margin in the third term. Valencia accumulated a 59:55 lead at the final break. ALBA went on a late rally to snatch victory but just sweetened the pill at the end. Levon Kendall and Leon Radosevic chipped in 8 points each in the win. Bojan Dubljevic answered with 14 points for Valencia. Sam Van Rossom posted 10 points in the loss.
