1/8 Finals Round 2: Maccabi Ashdod - Chevakata 60-50

Maccabi Ashdod earned the second straight victory in the series versus Chevakata and advaned into quarterfinal stage. The game was mostly controlled by Maccabi Ashdod. Vologda-Chevakata managed to win fourth quarter 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Maccabi Ashdod forced 19 Vologda-Chevakata turnovers. American guard Allison Hightower (178-88, college: LSU, agency: Josep and Nicolas) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 4 assists. Shay Doron (175-85, college: Maryland) contributed with 18 points and 6 steals for the winners. Canadian center Kayla Alexander (193-91, college: Syracuse, agency: LBM Management) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Olesya Sedletskaya (176-93) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Vologda-Chevakata.
