Botana needed overtime against Nantes to punch their quarterfinal tickets. Botas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. However their 14-point win in regulation was not enough. Botas fired 12 points in the extra period and claimed the victory on aggregate. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Nantes Reze's 36. American forward Lauren Ervin (191-85, college: Arkansas, agency: Two Points) scored 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and Greek forward Evanthia Maltsi (180-78, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five Botas players scored in double figures. Botas' coach felt very confident using 11 players in such tough game. Power forward Aurelie Bonnan (187-83, agency: Josep and Nicolas) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 20 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and Sarah Michel (180-89, agency: Comsport) scored 15 points and 5 assists.
