Villeneuve became the first EuroCup finalists. They overcame a 9-point deficit from the opening leg of the series versus Maccabi Ashdod to seal the victory on aggregate. Megan Mahoney scored 20 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and issued 5 assists to pace the French team. Villeneuve stayed aggressive defensively throughout the first half. The French team accounted for a 17:12 lead after ten minutes. The hosts held Maccabi to just 8 points in the second term to gain a 7-point halftime advantage. Villeneuve boosted the lead in the third term. The hosts established a 16-point lead at the final intermission. Maccabi fired 22 points in the fourth term but Villeneuve matched the effort and secured the needed result. Wauters provided 16 points, while Gomis added 10 points in the win.
