Unics defeated AV Cantu at home court and secured the second consecutive win in the quarterfinal series. It looked good early as AV Cantu took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Unics Kazan had a 29-17 second period charge getting the lead and AV Cantu was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 72-75. Greek power forward Kostas Kaimakoglou (206-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. American-Turkish Keith Langford (193-83, college: Kansas) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Unics Kazan players scored in double figures. Croatian power forward Ivan Buva (208-91) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and Dominican-American guard James Feldeine (193-88, college: Quinnipiac) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for AV Cantu.
