Valencia claimed the quarterfinal tickets storming past Bayern Munich on the road. The game without a history. Valencia Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-16 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Valencia Basket had a 26-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin Bojan Dubljevic (205-91, agency: Beo Basket) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Pau Ribas (196-87) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Valencia Basket players scored in double figures. Swingman Paul Zipser (203-94, agency: LUMANI 10.7) produced 13 points and 7 rebounds and Slovakian-German point guard Anton Gavel (189-84) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
