Regular Season Round 4: Galatasaray - Villeneuve 59-35

Everything could happen in Istanbul at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Turkish Galatasaray and 7th ranked French Villeneuve D'Ascq had identical 1-2 record. This time Galatasaray used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Villeneuve 59-35. It looked good early as Villeneuve D'Ascq took a 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Galatasaray took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 24 points. Defending Turkish champion (2-2) moved-up to fourth place in Group A, which they share with Good Angels. Villeneuve D'Ascq lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Galatasaray's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked MKB Euroleasing (#8) in Sopron. Villeneuve D'Ascq will play at home against the league's leader Dynamo Kursk and hope to win that game.
