The game in Sopron was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Slovakian Good Angels (3-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Hungarian MKB Euroleasing (1-6). Good Angels defeated MKB Euroleasing 86-70 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Good Angels. MKB Euroleasing was better in second period 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Good Angels dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to MKB Euroleasing's 34. They outrebounded MKB Euroleasing 47-23 including a 33-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American guard Shenise Johnson (181-90, college: Miami, FL) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds. Center Anna Jurcenkova (195-85) helped adding 15 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five Good Angels players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian-Hungarian center Sara Krnjic (191-91) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Croatian point guard Iva Ciglar (167-85, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 16 points. Defending Slovakian champion moved-up to fifth place in Group A, which they share with Villeneuve. MKB Euroleasing lost their fourth game in a row. Defending Hungarian champion keeps the seventh position with six games lost. Good Angels will face bottom-ranked Perfumerias Avenida (#8) in Salamanca in the next round. MKB Euroleasing will play at home against Villeneuve D'Ascq and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
