The game was mostly controlled by Unics Kazan. Maccabi T-A was better in third quarter 18-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American-Turkish Keith Langford (193-83, college: Kansas) fired 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Anton Ponkrashov (200-86, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. Four Unics Kazan players scored in double figures. American-Israeli swingman Sylven Landesberg (198-90, college: Virginia) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and American-Nigerian power forward Trevor Mbakwe (207-89, college: Minnesota, agency: Pensack Sports) added 15 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side.
