Regular Season Round 12: Familia Schio - Good Angels 89-63

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Italian Familia Schio (8-4) crushed at home 7th ranked Slovakian Good Angels (3-9) 89-63. The game was mostly controlled by Familia Schio. Good Angels was better in third quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American players dominated the game. The best player for the winners was Jolene Anderson (175-86, college: Wisconsin) who scored 29 points and 6 rebounds. Power forward Ashley Walker (187-87, college: California, agency: Merit Management Group) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Crystal Langhorne (188-86, college: Maryland) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and guard Shenise Johnson (181-90, college: Miami, FL) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending Italian champion moved-up to second place in Group A, which they share with Dynamo K. and Galatasaray. Good Angels lost fifth consecutive game. Defending Slovakian champion keep the seventh position with nine games lost. Familia Schio's next round opponent will be league's leader Fenerbahce in Istanbul and it will be for sure the game of the week. Good Angels will play on the road against Villeneuve D'Ascq (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
