1/8 Finals Round 1: Nantes - Sparta&K MR 60-57

Date: January 28, 2016
The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-16. But Spartak Vidnoye won second period 11-10. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely Spartak Vidnoye outrebounded Nantes Reze 40-23 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Spanish swingman Queralt Casas (177-92) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. Canadian forward Katherine Plouffe (190-92, college: Marquette) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Center Maria Vadeeva (193-98) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds and Belgian center Emma Meesseman (192-93, agency: LBM Management) added 12 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Spartak Vidnoye. Spartak Vidnoye's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
